Composed of entirely edible root, steam and leaves, the variegated interior of this beet is tipped with pink colour mid ribs. A deep earthy flavour and aroma characterize this beet. Cooked beets fade slightly from their brilliant original colouring.
Cooking tip - You can add lemon juice in boiling water to retain their colouring. Cook for 45 mins till tender. The beet can be boiled, roasted or cooked in a similar manner to a normal beet.
